The U.S. economy added 263,000 jobs in November, according to data released from the Labor Department Friday morning. The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7 percent, while employment growth was widespread both in the goods-producing and service-producing sectors. Average hourly earnings have risen 5.1 percent over the past year.
