The UK and the EU have struck the “Windsor Framework” agreement, hailed as a “decisive breakthrough” to resolve the issues with the Northern Ireland Protocol. Rishi Sunak said it will remove lots of customs paperwork, and add a “Stormont Brake” provision to enable Northern Ireland to block EU laws. But before it’s fully accepted, MPs say attention should be paid to the details of the deal. And the DUP say they will take time to review it.
