Sunak Warned Against Appeasement of China

There are concerns that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is softening his stance on China. Earlier this week, he said China is the biggest state-based threat to our economic security, but he didn’t say whether he planned to recategorise China as a threat. He also changed his words when answering reporters’ questions, calling the Chinese regime a “systemic challenge” instead of a threat.
