Strong relationships helped a small business survive the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to bring joy to households by supplying real Christmas trees. The pandemic disrupted supply chains, constraining supply and causing prices to rise.

Rocco Malanga, the owner of Cedar Grove Christmas Trees in New Jersey, spoke to NTD about his business, and what consumers are looking for.

“These days, it’s the price,” he said. “Like everything else, consumers are feeling a little bit of a pinch. We’ve tried our best here to keep the prices down, keep a good value for families. And I think in the coming years, we’ll come out of this and still be doing this, and keep a good value.”
