Surfers are riding the biggest waves in the world to compete for cash prizes. The World Surf League is judging videos sent in by skilled surfers to award cash prizes. Not only the surfer, but the videographer is also eligible for prize money.

Videos have been received from locations as diverse as Portugal, Australia, California, Mexico, and more. Wherever the biggest waves reside is where these surfers are venturing. Waves in the contest can go as high as 78 feet.

An awards ceremony will take place April 29.
