A suspected World War II bomb was found on a building site in north London on Thursday (March 2), according to local police and firemen attending the scene.

London’s Fire Brigade confirmed that they had been called to the building site at 1150 GMT after the object had been discovered.

A local school, nursery and nearby homes were evacuated as a safety precaution in the Brondesbury Park area.
