“Rambo” star Sylvester Stallone was slammed on social media after announcing that selfies with him would cost almost $1,000, according to a new report.

The 72-year-old is to visit London, Manchester, and Birmingham to promote his final Rambo film “Last Blood.”

As part of a black-tie dinner event called “An Evening with Sylvester Stallone,” fans will get a live-stage interview with the Oscar-winner, a three-course dinner, film prop models, and an auction of signed memorabilia.

Packages start at $160 (£125) per head, but go up to $1,081 (£849) for the “premium photo experience,” (of which there are only 10), which allows fans to get a selfie with the Rocky star.

However, fans took to social media to complain about the steep prices.

“It’s a shame you’d need to sell a kidney to go,” one person said, according to The Sun.

However, the event organizer from their social media account “An Experience With,” defended the steep prices.

“As with any business, there are costs involved and this is the same for us as a company,” the company said, according to The Sun.

“When you take into consideration the costs to bring a celebrity of such status to the UK then you would understand why,” the company continued in the statement.

“As for the photos we are allowed only 150 from management so due to this, the exclusivity dictates the price,” the company added. “We work with A-list celebs and unfortunately quality costs.”

The same event with Arnold Schwarzenegger charges fans the same, while a selfie with Mel Gibson costs slightly less at $828.

The events will take place on Aug. 31 as well as Sept. 6-7, according to the official site.

While some fans expressed outrage at the steep prices, others were just happy for a chance to meet the Rambo star.

“I Count EVERY SINGLE SECOND, DAY,…… Dreams comes really True,” one person commented.

“Very excited,” another wrote.

Another commented, “Went last year on his birthday, was fab, never forget it.”

“I am hoping to get the premium photo with bio tickets. I am going to Birmingham too and have 2 photos booked,” one person commented.

“£125 !!!! Bargain….go rob a bank lol this can NOT BE MISSED !!!!! show mum,” another commented.
