Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is asking the Federal Trade Commission to investigate GoFundMe. The online crowdfunding platform just ended a fundraiser for the Canadian trucker’s convoy who are protesting vaccine mandates. The company has started to refund the donations.

A few days ago, GoFundMe defunded the Freedom Convoy, saying it violated the company’s terms of service. They had lost more than $8 million in donations. But, the trucker convoy is back in business on a different crowdfunding website, racking up millions in three days.
