The Investigation Bureau under Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice reported last week that nearly 60 people from eight different Chinese enterprises are under investigation.
The bureau said Beijing has used Chinese companies or research centers operating in Taiwan as cover for its real goal: stealing Taiwan’s advanced technology and poaching the island’s high-tech industry talents with high salaries.
