Taiwan’s VP Running in Presidential Election

Two presidential elections next year could determine the fate of the global status quo: one in the U.S., and the other in Taiwan.

A Harvard alumni is running for Taiwan’s presidency. He’s considered even tougher against China than current president Tsai Ing-wen. What’s more, he was projected to be his party’s ruling candidate on Wednesday. Polls suggest that he may even win.
