After an eight-week legal battle, a verdict has been reached in the $220 million “Take Care of Maya” case against Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The jury found the hospital liable for all seven claims made against it, including false imprisonment, battery, medical negligence, and fraudulent billing.

The young lady’s journey is now also the center of a new documentary. NTD’s Stephanie Sical reports.
