Under the shadow of war in Israel, the Taliban is seeking to get closer to America’s biggest rival.
Haji Nooruddin Azizi, the Taliban’s acting minister of commerce, said, “We requested China to allow us to be a part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and the path that join us through Tajikistan.”
