Teacher Faces Termination Over Connecticut Vaccine Mandate

In Connecticut, the pandemic is leaving its fingerprints on almost every aspect of daily life. A state representative has resigned after being charged with misusing federal COVID-19 relief funds, hundreds of the state’s prison workers are defying the governor’s vaccine mandate, and a high school physical education teacher in the state who opted out of the vaccine is still on unpaid leave four weeks later.

NTD spoke with Kahseim Outlaw, a physical education teacher at Lyman Hall High School, who says he’s not against people using vaccines to manage their health, but he is against mandates.
