Every generation says it when they hit a certain age: “Kids today, they’re wasting their lives. they’ll never amount to anything.” But what if the trends we’re seeing now are profoundly different and there really is something to worry about? Never has there been a generation so deeply immersed in technology. 

Jeremy S. Adams comes to us direct from the trenches of the American classroom where he’s been teaching for the last 24 years. He says he sees some troubling trends among the youth today. He expresses those worries  in a new book “Hollowed Out: A Warning About America’s Next Generation.” It’s a sobering and eye-opening read about the realities of a generation that’s radically individualistic, shockingly unhappy, and living in a digital world that would be unrecognizable to earlier generations.
