Teachers’ Strikes: Unions Threaten More Pressure

Tens of thousands of teachers walked out of England’s schools and sixth-form colleges on May 2. A union boss said they want to keep the pressure on the government with more industrial action, and plan to strike alongside other education unions. The government however says coordinating strikes for maximum disruption is unreasonable and disproportionate.
