Texas READER Act Challenged: Library Book Vendors Required to State If Book Has Sexually Explicit Content

A group of national publishers and booksellers is suing Texas over a law—known as the READER Act—that will force public school library vendors to review and rate books for sexual content. NTD’s Daniel Monaghan spoke with Cindi Castilla, president of the nonprofit organization Texas Eagle Forum, for her take on the issue.
