Alina Habba, an attorney for former President Donald Trump, spoke to reporters outside a courtroom in Manhattan on Thursday after the day’s trial on a civil case against President Trump. She criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James for bringing up the lawsuit, which she said is “the biggest waste of New York taxpayer dollars.”
Alluding to President Trump’s two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, who appeared at the court to testify for the second day on Thursday, Ms. Habba added, “These children are being brought in, away from their families, for doing nothing wrong.”
