First responders to the March 22 terrorist attack near London’s Parliament building met with the royal family. Two first responders met Prince William and Prince Harry, along with the Duchess of Cambridge, after a ceremony at Westminster Abbey in their honor.

They were applauded for their actions on March 22, when a lone man plowed his car into pedestrians, killing three and injuring dozens, before running to the Parliament building and stabbing a policeman to death at the gates. Fifty-two-year-old Khalid Masood was then shot dead on the scene. All other suspects arrested in connection with the incident have been released.
