The Chinese Communist Party has strived to penetrate governments all over the world with its unique way of using money and corruption.

The first foreign trip of Qin Gang, the newly installed Chinese Foreign Minister, was to Angola and some other African countries, where he offered a package to build high-speed telecommunications infrastructure. The Chinese aid to Angola and many other countries in the past has caused corruption involving billions of dollars diverted and implicated the highest levels of government.

Joined by award-winning Angolan investigative journalist Rafael Marques, Hudson Institute and International Republican Institute experts will discuss the malign influence of communist China with some new updates at 3:00 p.m. ET on Feb. 7.
