The Financial Conduct Authority Inquiry Triggered by Nigel Farage’s Debanking Saga

The Financial Conduct Authority said there is no firm evidence that banks are debanking people for their political views. The regulator launched an inquiry into debanking after former United Kingdom Independence Party leader Nigel Farage’s bank account was threatened with closure earlier this year.  But the FCA admits it didn’t include Farage’s case as part of the review.
