“We lead with quality!” said Mark Andol, the owner of the Made In America Stores in Elma and Blasdell near Buffalo, New York. His stores are the only brick-and-mortar stores stocking products that are 100 percent made in America.
So what are the biggest differences that American consumers will notice when buying something made in America as opposed to made in China?
“When you put them side by side, the price isn’t that different,” said Mr. Andol. “People are surprised: You can see the quality difference. So it’s pretty neat that we’ve shown people you can still make it in America at a reasonable price, and a competitive price.”
The store’s mission is “to create and save jobs in the United States of America by increasing American manufacturing for our children’s future.”
