Dora the dog does NOT like fireworks. On July 4th, 2012, there were plenty of those going off everywhere in her neighborhood. She became so afraid, she jumped the fence in her backyard and ran. Dora’s family was devasted. They looked everywhere. I mean everywhere and they could not find her. Week after week went by and still no Dora. Their hopes were fading.
Seven months later. a shelter had picked her up as a stray and scanned the microchip her family had implanted in her ear just in case anything like this were to ever happen. Dora’s reunion with her owner is so sweet and so gentle you just have to see it for yourself. Welcome home, Dora.
