Gerie Hansen, a former theater producer, felt excited about the performance of Shen Yun New York Company on March 30, 2017, in Sydney, Australia. She said “Everything was just so beautifully coordinated,” and she really adored the dancers.
“It was absolutely fabulous, and probably more exciting than I expected,” said Gerie, “I thought the staging was wonderful, I thought the screen and the effects were just amazing. The dancers were just beautiful, the colors and the costumes were quite overwhelming.”
She also adored the beautiful coordination of all the elements of the performance.
“It was exquisite because I think everything was just so beautifully coordinated, obviously the size of the girls and the balance of the bodies was just perfect, I really adored that.”
And she felt the beautiful energy from the dance, and impressed by the spiritual side of Chinese culture.
“I think everything about the performance has a great harmony and flow to it. If I think of spirituality, I think that’s what it is within a human being, about the flow of energy within you, I think that was expressed on stage, the beautiful energy from the dance, from the personalities of the dancers and also from the beautiful orchestra.”
“I haven’t seen anything that shows a spiritual side of the culture, on stage, with music and dance, so cohesively.”
