‘There’s a Lot of Unity Around’: Republicans After Rep. Mike Johnson Elected House Speaker

Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.) successfully became the 56th speaker of the House on Oct. 25, after a unanimous vote by the GOP Conference on the first ballot. After the speaker vote, some Republicans expressed their optimism toward the leadership of Mr. Johnson.
