Thief Arrested After Stealing Package From Kentucky Police Chief’s Porch

A man in Vine Grove, Kentucky, made the wrong decision on Oct. 16 when he stole a package from the home of the town’s police chief.

Chief Kenny Mattingly shared security footage and photos of the culprit on Facebook. “At 5:52 today this criminal stole a package from my front porch. He was driving a dark blue Extenda cab Ford Ranger with tinted windows, and a wooden porch swing in the bed,” he posted.

The man appears to get out of a truck and then walk up to the front door. He picks up a package and walks back, putting the package in his truck.

According to an update to the post, the suspect was identified and charged. As of writing, the post had 1,000 shares on Facebook.
