What would you call it when an avalanche of exploding firecrackers sweep towards you, burying entire houses in smoke with its crackling viciousness? Well – at least for people living in Mainland China – they’d probably call it just another shop opening celebration happening somewhere in China:
In Hunan Province in China, a shop decided to try and attract more attention on its opening day, and thus prepared this spectacular firework – one that could impress its spectators even in broad daylight. The firecrackers were set up in such a way that they would explode one row after another. Upon ignition, they form an avalanche-like shape – row-by-row – in a dramatic moment for the spectators.
This exciting footage was filmed on Tuesday this week. You can clearly see a sea of explosives laid out in formation just like a carpet. Watch this video to see the moment the firecrackers are lit.
