Three Pedestrians Were Hit Near Penn Station, Manhattan
At the rush hour on Friday (Sept. 29) a red van hit at least three people near Penn Station at West 31st Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan at around 5:18 p.m.
A woman was hit and rolled over on the road. Another woman who was walking with her, with no time to react, was hit, too.
The rescue rushed in within minutes. None of the people hit seemed to have serious injuries.
There are five firetrucks on site.
The van drove to the next block and stopped between 30th and 31st St. The driver disappeared, according to a witness.
Many commuters and pedestrians were shocked.
