The iconic Times Square ball was illuminated and sent up atop One Times Square, one day ahead of the New Year’s Eve celebration.
The ball, composed of more than 25-hundred Waterford Crystal triangles, can display a palette of more than 16 million colors and billions of patterns.
This year’s design celebrates the “Gift of Goodwill.”
