Dogs are born with amazing resilience. They go through worst but they continue to love and survive. Little Hopelily is a baby bulldog with a similar story of survival. Her love for life is inspiring.
Hopelily was tiny, frail and sickly when she was rescued by Road Dogs and Rescue, a non-profit. She weighed less than two pounds and was on the verge of death.
She was bred to be a tiny bulldog, a type of bulldog that’s downsized to look small their whole life. Also called Tiny bulldog, Mini Bulldog or Toy Bulldog these dogs are very prone to illnesses. They need lots of attention their whole life.
Nikki Carvey, the founder of Road Dogs and Rescue, was doubtful about Hopelily’s survival. On her Facebook page, Nikki shared, “She originally came to Road Dogs really sick and didn’t have long to live. Thankfully she went straight to the vet and slowly got healthy.”
Nikki has shared many videos of the cute, naughty girl on her page. She is all that a cute puppy can be – so full of life and innocence.
“She weighs a whopping 7.7 lbs now! She was 1.5 when we first got her. Such a happy feisty little girl!” Nikki shared in another post.
So if today has been a hard day for you, we have Hopelily to give your hope. She made it and you’ll surely do. Keep going! Watch our Hopelily here in this Dodo video:
