While visiting a zoo, parents caught a rattling interaction between a lion and their baby. In the video, we see a curious infant looking through the glass at a lion, but the lion seems interested in only one thing: a midday snack.
The mother on the video is heard saying “He wants to eat our baby,” and based on the consistent pawing at the glass and anxious pacing, she’s probably right. Still, others on the web think that lion is only wanting to play with the child. It’s a good idea to turn to the experts for the real answers.
While videos such as this can be a worry, lion’s don’t usually attack people let alone eat babies. The likely cause for so many videos about lions at the zoo being so interested in children and babies is because they are at eye level. Lions like to bit their prey at the neck, and children just so happen to be in that zone.
