Toddler learns early in life to feed herself – that too, with no arms

Everybody is born ‘special’.  You may use this term whichever way you wish.  For some ‘special’ means brilliant, for some it means exceptional.  This little girl gives another meaning to her being special. Born without arms, read on how she overcomes her special condition in her young life.

Vasilina Knutzen, was born without any arms. Kudos! to her parents for encouraging her find an alternative way to becoming independent. For Vasilina it is just a normal thing as she is too young to be corrupted by society to know and understand what normal is. She has already learned how to feed herself using her feet.

Most toddlers prefer to be fed by their parents, but not this girl. Even though she has no arms, she's managed to figure out a way to feed herself.

Most parents don’t trust their toddlers to feed themselves.  They are either worried about the quantity of food that will go in their little tummies, or the mess they will have to clean up later. But this beautiful girl was fortunate enough to have a trusting and encouraging mother.

She uses her feet! And keep in mind, this isn't something that can easily be done. It takes skill to be able to grab a fork with your toes and successfully maneuvering it to your mouth.

Elmira Knutzen, the proud and happy mother has caught on camera her little daughter’s achievement, probably as a motivation for other mothers to be as encouraging and trusting towards their children’s capabilities.

Vasilina's mother, Elmira Knutzen, was so impressed and proud that she caught the whole thing on camera and posted it on the Internet for everyone else to see.
