At 80, Natalie Trayling became famous on the internet for being a piano street performer in Melbourne although Melbournians have seen her on the streets for a few decades. To be exact, Natalie plays whenever she sees a piano, even at a hospital when she was ill. Her old age doesn’t stop her nimble hands from flying across the keyboard as she plays a piece composed by herself.
Looking at how she immerses herself into playing the piano, one would not have guess that she had experienced hardships of being homeless and also passing of her two daughters. But, it was music that keeps her going.
Natalie’s performance on the streets was recorded by her son, Matthew who posted it on his Youtube channel. The video below has garnered over 6 millions views.
