One of California’s most popular poppy fields is blooming early this year. But the well-known sightseeing spot is now closed to the public. That’s because of visitors going off-trail and trampling the wildflowers. Now, a creative approach is being taken to let people see the stunning scene up close—from a bird’s-eye view.
