You know the TV series where people have to transport large, bulky or extremely valuable goods from point A to B in order to get paid? If not, you are welcome, because we just summed up the plot of “The Transporter.”

Due to import taxes cars are fairly uncommon in Vietnam, and are considered luxury. When you come across a set of wheels in Vietnam it’s either a scooter, rickshaw or truck.

Unfortunately you won’t always have a truck when you need to transport something, so end up on a scooter.

Got half a dozen rugs and no truck? Take the scooter. Have some 20 feet of bamboo? Take the scooter. Nine people need a ride? Well … take the scooter.

But that’s not all, even trucks are hopelessly overloaded, as you’ll see in this video as well. Maybe they should wear helmets…
