Due to import taxes some time ago, cars are fairly uncommon in Vietnam and considered luxury. So when you come across a set of wheels in Vietnam it’s either a scooter, rickshaw or a full grown truck.
Unfortunately you won’t always have a truck when you need to transport something, so you need to take a scooter and then the following happens…
