Some Florida treasure hunters diving off the Atlantic Coast were rewarded mightily with their find several years ago. They discovered and harvested more than $1 million worth of gold that had sat on the ocean floor for nearly 300 years.
Sixty gold artifacts were quite the surprise for the treasure diver heard in this video, even with full diving head gear failing to muffle his excitement! About 300 years earlier, this treasure had sunk to the bottom of the ocean on July 31, 1715.
