Tropical storm pounds Mexico’s Pacific coast

Tropical storm Beatriz hit Mexico’s Pacific coast. Landslides buried houses and killed two people. Roads had to be closed and flights were canceled. A bridge also partly collapsed. Maximum sustained winds reached 45 miles per hour.

The storm is further expected to bring life-threatening flash floods and mudslides.
