A New York high court judge is denying former President Donald Trump’s appeal of his gag order in the fraud case. And in the election interference case, meanwhile, a federal appeals court is rejecting Trump’s petition over Special Counsel Jack Smith’s access to his Twitter feed.
NTD spoke to a senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation, Hans von Spakovsky, to find out the merits—if any—of the raft of court cases being brought against President Trump, and how he can fight back against them.
“I think the ultimate remedy for Donald Trump is going to be the U.S. Supreme Court,” he said. “And that’s because in both New York and, frankly, in the District of Columbia, he is facing politically biased judges, and in the DC case, a politically biased jury system.”
