Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has affirmed former President Donald Trump’s spot on the state’s primary ballot pending a U.S. Supreme Court decision.

Meanwhile, however, Maine’s Secretary of State Shenna Bellows has removed President Trump’s name from her state’s Republican primary ballot.

NTD spoke to political analyst and TV and radio host Jeff Crouere, who said he believes the Maine decision had been made soon after the Jan. 6, 2021 incident.

“This is absolutely atrocious,” he said. “We’ve got Colorado and Maine taking the decision away from the people of those states, and trying to bar unilaterally a presidential candidate—a former president—who has not been charged with insurrection, he has not been convicted of insurrection.”

Mr. Crouere urged the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene to prevent a potential precedent for other Democrat-led states.
