As we enter 2024, is a rematch between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on the cards? What are the polls indicating right now? What should the GOP candidate be focusing on to mobilize the vote, and is the economy really a strong point for President Biden?
NTD was joined by retired Lt. Col. Allen West, a former congressman and the executive director of the American Constitutional Rights Union. He questioned the likelihood of a Biden vs. Trump rematch, citing Democratic super delegates. Mr. West also expressed concerns about Biden’s polling—and particularly on issues like the Israel–Hamas war.
He said President Trump must highlight his administration’s accomplishments, and shift the narrative away from left-leaning interpretations. Contrary to perceptions of a strong economy under President Biden, Mr. West said that many Americans are still struggling with inflation and the high cost of living.
