Donald Trump Jr. took a swipe at New York Attorney General Letitia James after being cross-examined by her on Monday in a New York City courtroom during former President Donald Trump’s fraud trial.

After calling the cross-exam “boring,” the younger Trump decried a potential precedent the case could set for businesses, telling reporters Ms. James’s office could potentially “go after” any company’s billion-dollar transactions, rendering the system “ripe for extortion and corruption.”

Mr. Trump Jr. did, however, say he tried to “have some fun” with his time on the stand, with some “quips in the courtroom” and recalling a “snappy response.”
