During an interview on Todd Starnes’ radio show, former President Donald Trump implied that he may appear in future GOP primary debates.
Trump was asked if he anticipated participating in a debate at some point. The former president replied: ‘I might … it’s possible’. He added that he liked debating, but since he is currently in the lead, it seems, ‘foolish’ to do so. The average poll currently shows Trump with 50.3 percent support nationally, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at a distant 14.8 percent.
The second debate is scheduled for September 27th at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
