Trump Praises Efforts to Feed US Families

President Donald Trump visited North Carolina to congratulate a packing facility and a Christian charity. The two organizations delivered packages of food to families affected by the pandemic with the help of the federal government.

In Mills River, North Carolina, Trump commented on the efforts made to provide free food to families who need it most.

The Trump administration launched the Farmers to Families Food Box Program. Under the program, the Department of Agriculture buys surplus food from farmers, and then local distributors pack and deliver food to families.
