Former President Donald Trump took umbrage at the heavy law enforcement presence around the courthouse where his New York trial is taking place before court proceedings continued Thursday morning, telling reporters: “Outside it’s like Fort Knox—you can’t get within three blocks of this place if you’re a civilian.”
The Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for this year’s presidential election also decried what he called the “suppression” of information about the trial when he spoke to the press before entering the court room.
