YouTubers Saleem Juma and Dion J. Thompson had eggs and a milkshake thrown at them in Seattle as they were wearing “Make America Great Again” hats and holding a sign offering “free hugs” from President Trump supporters. They were live-streaming the event and it was all caught on video.

“The entire idea behind something like a free hug sign is to bridge the political gap,” Juma told Breitbart News. “We also wanted to show that Trump supporters are not what the mainstream media depict us to be.”

“We’ve been assaulted here four or five times now, just for wearing Trump hats,” Juma said to a bystander who stopped to talk with the Trump supporters.

“That’s ridiculous,” continued Juma, who is a Muslim of Indian descent, “You can not like Trump, but if you’re going to assault people over a political opinion, that’s a ‘you’ problem, not a ‘me’ problem.”

Soon after, an alleged Antifa member is videotaped throwing eggs at the YouTubers, including the innocent bystander that was talking to them.

“This guy isn’t even conservative, he was just standing with us, asking questions,” Juma can be heard saying. “I’m bleeding,” said the bystander, “I’m bleeding in the ear right now. I just pulled out [expletive], like, blood, right there. In my hand, right there.”

The Trump supporters had intended to create content for their YouTube channel and their interaction with passersby was being recorded by someone across the street from where they were standing.

“These Antifa groups will attack anybody, and that video shows that they’re even willing to attack someone that’s not conservative,” added Thompson, while talking to the bystander. “They’re willing to attack anybody.”

More eggs were thrown at them from the top of the building near them and a hooded attacker also threw a milkshake on Thompson, who is an African American.

Juma and Thomson told Breitbart News that a local Antifa group has labeled them “fascists” and “white supremacists,” and posted pictures of them on the streets.

Thompson said they called the police five times, but that they failed to respond.

Trump Says He’s Considering Declaring Antifa a ‘Major Organization of Terror’

Trump has said on July 27 that his administration may declare the extremist group Antifa “a major organization of terror.”

“Consideration is being given to declaring ANTIFA, the gutless Radical Left Wack Jobs who go around hitting (only non-fighters) people over the heads with baseball bats, a major Organization of Terror (along with MS-13 & others). Would make it easier for police to do their job!” Trump wrote on Twitter on July 27.

Trump’s announcement comes after Sens. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) proposed a resolution in the Senate to condemn the acts of violence carried out by members of Antifa and to label the group as a domestic terrorist organization.

The senators proposed the resolution following Antifa members’ brutal assault on independent journalist Andy Ngo late last month. Ngo, who is known for extensively documenting Antifa violence, was punched in the face, kicked, and had cups of a white substance thrown at him while he was covering one of the group’s protests in Portland, Oregon. Portland police later said the cups contained quick-drying cement mixed into milkshakes.
