President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will go head-to-head in two scheduled debates. We spoke with NTD news contributor Mike Leon about the debates, which are set for June 27 on CNN and Sept. 10 on ABC. Mr. Leon is also the policy and strategy director for the Free and Equal Elections Foundation, and the host of the “Can We Please Talk?” news commentary podcast.
“I think having [the debates] in a studio-format, one-on-one setting, I think is the right way to go,” he said.
