The foreign secretary has set out plans for a new bill to overwrite parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol, with the legislation expected within the coming weeks. The Bill will propose separate “green” and “red” lanes for goods travelling between Great Britain and the province. But the EU criticises the plans and warns that Brussels could retaliate, fanning fears of a trade war.
