Striking UAW worker Keith Jurgelewicz offered reporters his reaction to Wednesday evening’s reports of a tentative agreement between the union and Ford—one of the Big 3 automakers against which the UAW has carried out a major strike in recent weeks. Mr. Jurgelewicz was picketing on Wednesday night with fellow autoworkers in Wayne, Michigan, when he received the news.
“I’m ecstatic, I can’t believe it, to be honest,” he said. “I’m just really excited that it’s going to work out for everybody. Hopefully GM and Stellantis can get their deals done.”
