Pac-12 powers UCLA and USC are planning to leave their longtime conference for the Big Ten, according to a report by the San Jose Mercury News. The move would give the Big Ten 16 members and allow them to get back on the same level as the SEC, as the two most powerful conferences. The defections could happen as early as the 2024 season, and seem to be in response to the SEC adding Big 12 powers Texas and Oklahoma last summer.
