UK Government Borrowing Halves Post-COVID

Government borrowing over the last year has more than halved compared to the previous year. It’s largely due to the end of pandemic schemes such as furlough, and revenue from tax coming back stronger than expected. But current borrowing still remains higher than pre-pandemic levels.
